How did I get here? Well... since you asked...

I've been indulging my love of photography since I was small - working first in flim and now in digital formats.

My longtime love of photography has combined with innate wunderlust and expressed itself through landscape photography to satisfy a hunger to capture the raw power of nature. On the way to capturing those epic mountain & waterfalls, I discovered details that are hidden to many people - delicate flowers and wildlife provide wonderful photographic opportunities.

A desire to capture all the precious, funny, adorable, heart-string-tugging (when you get to the bottom of things - I'm a hopeless sap) moments of my children's lives has steadily grown into ever evolving photo-journalistic approach to everything from weddings and engagements to campfires featuring Friday night s'mores!

I also love gear and education. Though I love to talk vision and to push my creative imagination, northing gets me more excited than a new box of gear dropped off at my front door. I love picking it up feeling it in my hands and more importantly using it to further develop my vision.
