While catching up on some of my favorite TV programs I happened to look up and see our tree, not quite ready for the Christmas season, but looking quite resplendent in the evening glow.

Monthly Archives: December 2010Most people when sizing up a photo don’t look it from anything other than eye-level. Some of the most interesting photos are when we view something from a completely unexpected spot. In this case I placed my head where the presents normally are and started looking UP the tree. After moving around and repositioning myself… I will admit to having wanderlust. I spend so much time on airplanes, driving down the road or running I sometimes forget what is right in front of me. Slowing down can at times be an issue. With this thought in mind I looked forward to reading the book, Close to Home. As the subtitle… I have been posting images this week from what has become an annual family event in our house. Some might recall this blog post from last year. My son became fascinated with the Hallmark Star Trek ornament that mimics the original Star Trek crew beaming away to some destination. One of my favorite parts… |
